As you can see our outfielders (Alex in this case) are ready to play baseball, every play. The infielder too. We rarely have a let down here. This team is the most motivated teams I ever had, when it comes to a winning attitude. Great group of players. The players have an amazing .365 team batting average and .485 on base percentage. The best part is the player can do even better and they know it. I'm looking for a .450 hitting and .600 on base. I guess that's why we are off to a 7-0 to start this year.
Here are the boys in between innings getting ready to pound the ball. Let's see what is going on here. Brett appears to be telling his parents to get him a Gatoraid (the red one I'm sure). Jorge is getting ready to hit. I'm looking at my roster and trying to figure out who's going in the line up. Ryan and Dylan are discussing world politics on the bench.... Jared in the Red helmet is preping for his at bat by studying the pitcher...
Alex is getting ready to motor around the bases. This player has something no manager can teach, SPEED. I've heard that he's a pretty good football player too. I look forward to developing his hitting and fielding. He has real potential to be a very good player in this division. What a great demeanor too.

This is a shot of the Coaching staff. Fred is counseling one of the players on the beach. Wes is calling the pitches to the catcher. One of our coaches that isn't in the dugout is Clark H. Little League rules prevent him from being in the dugout. Long story.... Great group of Coaches all of us have our strenght but we all have the same basic philosophy. Technique, Technique, Technique.... Without it you're doomed as a player. We are having as much fun as the players.

I love this great example of the ready position. This is what a baseball player should look like when getting ready to make a play. The picture below of Stephano is good too. The players have been doing a great job of this. When you see one of our games you can tell that the team is ready to play. It's still early in the year and we hope that we can continue to grow as a team. Standby for future updates.
Little League opening day, in Valley Center. For the second year we had Randy Jones throw out the first pitch. Then he said a few words to the players... This year I'm managing a Major division team. My team is the Giants. One of my players is in the background, in the black jacket. I think that's Wyatt.
New Project at the Mini Ranch was to finally put grass around the house. Things were going great till I ran out of grass in the front. Not to fear you can always orders more grass. Project will be complete just in time of the puppies to tear it up. We are keeping two pups from the litters. Moby is a White Lab and Aussie looks like a German Sheppard with Lab features. These two are going to be a hand full....
While in Vegas for my exercise Diana decided to stretch the legs of her new toy. She drove up to Vegas in the Porsche. While up there we ran into Sugar Ray front man Mark Mcgrath. Diana crashed a party at the Hard Rock Hotel too. She was looking for Paris Hilton but ran in to Snoop Doggs private party. Talk about polar opposites. We had a great time in Vegas. I drove the car back home and I have to tell you that the car really smooths out at 110 mph. That was a fun ride.

This year I supported a joint military exercise called, "Red Flag". Here we some of my fellow classmates at that exercise. As you can see there are many different uniforms in the crowd. In the photo there are Navy (Tan), Air Force (jump suits and dark cammies), Army (guy waving). That guy is John Umpstead. Got to know him while working with him. He had to be the class pary animal. We had a Marine in our class but he's hiding from the view of the camera. Lots of good people. Oh did I mention that this exercise was in Vegas and I was there for a month. Good times!!
